I’m Clara Richter and this is the 52nd edition of Women With Impact. If you enjoy this issue, please share it with a friend and like it above.
As the Founder of Women With Impact, I had the great honour speaking at the #WeLead Lounge in Davos during the World Economic Forum. The panel was curated by the Gates Foundation, Women Inspiring Network, and CII Centre for Women Leadership, and took place on January 22, 2025. Titled "Quantum Leadership: Women Redefining Networks to Shape the Future of the World”, the dynamic session brought together a group of trailblazing women leaders:
Stuti Jalan – Founder, Women Inspiring Network
Alyse Nelson – President & CEO, Vital Voices Global Partnership
Iryna Papusha – President & Co-Founder, Women Leaders For Ukraine
Vinita Jain – Founder Chairperson, Biotique
Mihaela Gjorcheva – Management Board, International Slavic University
Tetiana Petrukha – Founder, Head Business Trainer, Evolve!
This Women With Impact edition is a summary of the key takeaways of the discussion. Wishing you a pleasant read!
Best,
Clara

Redefining Leadership: Women Shaping the Future of Global Networks
In our conversation, we explored how women are leading with purpose, adaptability, and impact in today's fast-changing world, and how networks play a crucial role in enabling this leadership.
The key takeaways from our discussion included:
Thriving in uncertainty: Women leaders are turning challenges into opportunities with empathy and agility, demonstrating the importance of resilience and adaptability in leadership. We shared examples of women leaders mastering challenging situations and crises, also referring to recent research from for instance Harvard Business Review.
Alliances that inspire: Networks provide a major pillar in creating spaces of belonging, and can thus be an immeasurable enabler in life. Especially for (aspiring) leaders who are seeking knowledge and shared experiences, networks can be resourceful and inspire to take action. We referred especially to networks of women supporting other women, and the potential of collective action.
Narratives for action: My personal stance during the discussion was to celebrate our unique journeys and share our narratives: As sharing narratives are a powerful tool to amplify voices that otherwise might have gone unheard. We can all learn from each other’s narratives and take action from them.
As I left the #WeLead Lounge on Davos’ prominent promenade, I felt inspired and energised by the conversation and the company of an incredible group of women leaders whom I had the honour the share the stage with. I knew that I was part of a global community of women leaders who are committed for change.
